“An interview with Bangladeshi Architect Mizanur Rashid on the architectural heritage of the ruins of Sompur Mahavihara at Paharpur, Bangladesh. The ruins are the earliest evidence of conscious architecture in Bangladesh. It is one of the oldest architectural evidences built to harbour the practice of Buddhism that also portrays various aspects of ancient Bengal’s civilisation. Architect Mizanur Rashid, a well known researcher and historian of the architectural remains of Bangladesh, described the ruins of Paharpur from different perspectives. This interview was produced and presented by Sheikh Lana.
